At first, I thought Betty was a pain in this episode.
It seems that she wanted to be a tutor so she could get closer to some of the good-looking football players.
Muley kind of had the same idea when he saw Betty.
Muley falls for Betty and then for Ralph's cousin as soon as he sees her. So to me, he is the one with the real issue.
Betty is just overdramatic like always. It's a good thing she and John-Boy Walton are not together. They are both overdramatic.
