When I have watched Deal Or No Deal I think I know why Howie Mandel decided to go bald in the first place? I bet when he was a kid his favorite Marvel character was Vision and when I look at Vision it seems that Howie Mandel was used as inspiration for creating the new version of Vision for The Avengers movies. Because when you look at Vision he has the same goatee and the exact same face as Howie minus the glasses Howie now wears. When I see Deal Or No Deal and see Howie Mandel I can't believe how he changed from having wonderful curly hair to looking like Vision

It had nothing to do with Marvel. Howie went bald because of being a germophobe.

When I first learned about Deal Or No Deal I kept seeing a bald guy hosting the show from the preview and I thought Deal Or No Deal was gonna be hosted by actor Bruce Willis then I researched and then discovered that the bald guy was Howie Mandel and I was surprised to see him bald because I liked him with curly hair a lot and thought he looked cool to the point when I too wanted to copy Howie's curly hair myself. But when I told Mom that Vision looked like Howie Mandel we decided to hold my Vision doll up to a Howie Mandel photo and she was shocked at Vision being Howie's look-alike and I think Paul Bettany and Howie Mandel met once and that's how Marvel decided to model the new version of Vision after Howie Mandel. Even when I watch Deal Or Deal with my mom my mother has begun nicknaming Howie Vision now

Hi, Bestie! I think that they modeled the Vision plush doll after Howie. At least their is a great resemblance. Right down to the goatee.
