I don't get why people like to make the stereotype that if you like to watch FOL, GG, or DW, you're gay.

If a show is excellent, has great writing and acting, what should it matter that it's an all-female cast? It's the TALENT and ENTERTAINMENT that are the main thing.

Well, I watch The Facts of Life and I do think it has made a influence on me because lately I have been questioning my sexuality. And I ever since I started watching the show that is when I began questing my gender. So yes, I do believe that some shows are able to make a person gay. As we all know it, the main characters on The Facts of Life are all girls.

I'm straight and watch it.

Not really. Most of my freinds these days are girls (Although I still have a lkot of guy friends) and I'm not gay. Hanging around girls can be a positive experince too. They can let you in on all the inside stuff about.......ya know. :lol: :grineyes: ;)

I do believe that some shows have a special effect on people in one way or another. These are some my beliefs: From watching a show, people can realize or learn things about themselves that they didn't know before. Some shows are able to show a person how true inside they are depending how real the show is. Shows can even have the power to convince people to believe or act in a certain way.
I have seen it happen before and I wouldn't say it is a good or a bad thing.

NOTE: If you don't agree with any of this stuff that is okay but please bash me over it. We all have our own beliefs and opinions.

I think a gay person is just like a straight person but in different ways. I don't consider they themselves gross at all. They have feelings, they have problems, and they have issues just like any straight person would. But what makes them different is that they are attracted to their sex and not a bit interested in the opposite sex in a sexual way. I don't think it is disgusting because we are all meant to love a person no matter what they are. The outside shouldn't matter but it is the inside that counts. In my opinion, I think a person should have a right to choose his/her mate no matter what they are.

I find it sad to hear (or watch or witness) how homosexuals get verbally or physically attacked or mistreated because of their sexual identity. I think that is wrong because they should not have to put up with that. It is not their fault that they're different or not normal according to society. In my eyes, society considers them as misfits. I don't think they are misfits at all because they have feelings and everyday living just like everyone else in society does. I just hope one day, that people will understand gays instead of bashing them all the time.

I never said that I have a problem with them!! I Dont care if someone is gay and I hate it that people make fun of them. I never said that the person was gross for decideing to be gay I said that it is gross that they would go on MTV and do all that stuff on Taildaters. I see them just as they are like the next person, a human being and they deserve to be treated as such. People make up their own minds and if they decide to be gay then thats who they are and thats good enough with me. AS long as they're happy, then Im happy. She was called that because her mother was gay and had a parnter and they were married. I'm a female soo whatever but yeah a show can't make you gay you're just coming here to put the show down, I personally don't care if you want to be a female that's your decision and you must have a gender disorder or something but a sitcom does not make somebody gay you must have alot of female hormones in your body and think differently. And a show has no affect with that at all! A sitcom does not control how the brain thinks lol, maybe an obsession but not homosexuality!
