Every year that the Emmy Awards appear no matter if it's the daytime Emmys or the primetime Emmys just like the Oscars they seem to share an identical curse and I have never figured it out? Is it because The Emmys seem to cater to a more older audience and have shows worthy of Emmy Awards? This year's Emmys were a disappointment and I cannot figure out why it went downhill. Take for instance why was Paul Bettany cheated out of an Emmy for Wandavision when Pedro Pascal should've been listed for Best Actor in a Drama Series for The Mandalorian? I mean my crush should've been gotten the award in the first place. Second a shocking upset was how in the world did The Mandalorian lose the Outstanding Drama Award to The Crown when The Mandalorian should won it because it was worthy of an Emmy. Wandavision was also nominated for an Emmy as well. I think these shockers are gonna hurt Disney+ because not even Loki was featured or nominated too. A second category that also has a curse is the Outstanding Game Show Award and I can't believe why Jeopardy or The Price Is Right always wins rather than LMAD or Catch-21? Is it because those game shows have more appeal than other game shows? I truly think The Emmy Awards should be investigated and shows or actors should recieve a second place award as a consolation prize and they should let people vote by tablet app

Just my opinion.

1. Award shows in general are now suffering from very low ratings. People are tired of Hollywood and what it represents. In the end it is a bunch of millionaires and billionaires in a room talking political nonsense or telling us how to live our lives.

2. There are so many shows on so many networks and platforms that everything gets lost on a shuffle. Nothing is really popular. Everybody likes different and divergent things that can be found in a hundred different places.

So the awards are cursed because you don't agree with who won?

My girlfriend and I were watching the Emmys last night and noticing that a lot of show nominated came from streaming services, I kept referring to the Emmys as The Streamies. There were hardly any network shows that took home an Emmy.

There should be a separate awards show for shows on Netflix and other streaming services, much like the Daytime Emmy awards are separate from the Primetime Emmy Awards. Network TV shows didn't really stand a chance at winning this year!
