What do you think? Was Princess supposed to be attractive but not too attractive? More like the girl next door rather than a future model?

On 50s shows nobody uses the bathroom! What about when they walk in on a teenager and shake him awake or pull him out of bed? In real life this could be embarrassing!

I think Betty was supposed to be the girl next door type. For example Diane in Not His Type near the end of the series thought it would be "safe" to have her boyfriend date Betty. Of course none of this treatment thrilled Betty, understandably.

Maybe this episode was payback for treating her "country cousin" like dirt.
