I want to thank all of you on this board and tell you that i missed you too, and apologises for the delay: i came back a month ago, but i was so enthralled with COBRA KAI, that i almost forgot about FOL (not quite though)....
The truth is, that i cannot believe how passionate i am with this new series 'COBRA KAI' (which is basically the sequel of KARATE KID): for anyone who is watching is, the rivalry between JOHNNY LAURENCE (William Zabka) vs DANIEL LARUSSO (Ralph Macchio) is almost as fascinating as the one between BLAIR and JO!
I don't want to say too much for those who are not familiar with it, but i have a feeling/certainty that Christopher knows what i'm talking about? Have you watched it Christopher?
Anyway, this is the first time in a long time that i love a series as much as FOL: the acting is superb, and the chemistry between the casts amazing!
For those of you who grew up watching KARATE KID, Johnny Laurence was always pictured as the bad/villain guy (in contrast to Daniel Larusso who was the good guy) but now in this sequel 'COBRA KAI', we actually have Johnny as the main guy, and we have a chance to understand what he really went through and sympathise with him.
The new generation is also very refreshing to watch, and our two main guys (JOHNNY and DANIEL) have now got each a apprentice of their own.
Oh, and of course the devil always return: KREESE is back.....
