View Full Version : Was someone on here asking about this recently?
DJM77 09-18-2021, 04:09 PM I thought I remembered someone on here posting a pic from the 70s of Bonnie Franklin with a microphone leaning over to hug Valerie Bertinelli and asking where it was from, but now I can't find the post. I just got done watching an episode of The Jim Nabors Show from 1977. Bonnie Franklin was one of the guests. While she was singing a song she walked into the audience and non-verbally acknowledged Valerie Bertinelli, Mackenzie Phillips and Pat Harrington Jr. who were all in the audience. This was the only acknowledgement that her One Day At A Time co-stars received during the episode. They were never introduced. I tried posting a few pics of this, but they showed up way too big and blurry on here. Anyway, I'm 100% positive that this is where the pic in question was from.
1960'sTVfan 09-18-2021, 05:28 PM That's interesting, I didn't know there was a Jim Nabors Show in 1977. The only Jim Nabors Show I'm familiar with is the variety hour that aired for two seasons from 1969-71 after the Gomer Pyle series ended.

Yeah, the one that I'm talking about only lasted one season.

Thanks! I was looking for it on there, but I couldn't find it for some reason.
I've been watching The Jim Nabors Show on Crackle by the way.

I just looked. The post of me saying I’m not sure where it’s from is still there, but the photo is gone

Can you post them again here so I can see them? I can resize them, and then you can delete your post again. Or maybe PM them over to me and I’ll resize them and put them in here?
(Since it’s somehow gone from the muddle thread, here it is again :) )

I did some research and discovered that The Jim Nabors Show from 1977 aired in the morning/daytime which explains why I'm not familiar with it and haven't seen it because during daytimes in 1977 I was not home and busy attending high school.
Ok, cool, I think I made copies of them all (you can delete the giant size ones if you want).
So this is from something called The Jim Nabors Show? Great Colombo-like detective skills, DJM (or the TV detective of your choice)

It's Pat Harrington, but in that particular picture I do see the resemblance to Paul Simon.

Thanks, I will take a look at The Jim Nabors Show on the Crackle site.
Information I found on the Internet Movie Database says that The Jim Nabors Show ran for 75 episodes and aired from January 1978 to April 1978.
