All the women had their flaws, and they all picked on one another. Blanche had too many men, Rose had too many stories, Sophia had too many dreams of money, and Dorothy had too fewmen.

So, who got picked on the most?

I'm going to say Rose, but it's a close call. That's just my vote. Yours??

I would also say that Rose was picked on my the most. One, of her stories and two of her somewhat usage of St. Olaf words
that she says.

I've gotta agree. As much as I love her, she definitely was an "easy target".

It's between Rose and Dorothy! I can't pick! Dorothy was always made fun of about her clothes, looks, dates....just about everything. I would have to go with dorothy.

This was a tough question. I could not decide between Dorothy and Rose. I ended up picking Rose because she was a much easier target, what with her St. Olaf stories and her naivety.

I picked Dorothy! Sophia's insults about her are just too funny! :)

It was close between Rose and Dorothy, but I pick Rose. She was just so ditzy the girls couldn't resist getting a laugh at her expense.

it was very close between Dorthy and Rose. But in the end it was dorthy who i think got made fun of the most for her lack of menness.

I'd have to say that Rose was indeed the easiest target, so she received my vote. But everyone took turns getting their digs into Dorothy as well. And Blanche was called a "tramp" at least once an episode!!! :lol:

I thought about it, it would be a three way tie between Blanche, Dorothy and Rose. Sophia would never be insulted as much until the Golden Palace came along.

Definitely Rose. They all had their share, but I think Rose got the worst of the put downs - the lovable nit wit! :)

I picked Rose. I think she's the one who always got made fun of.

I don't remember this topic from back then...! I'll go ahead and say Dorothy...although Rose is right up there. Everyone voted for Dorothy with the "who gets to move out of the house" vote(she even voted for herself), was picked on for being dateless and being able to pass easily for a man, had a yutzy ex-husband, but in the end, she came out on top!

ROSE I mean they were all made fun of, everyone got their equal share of insults from sofia, but then rose was constantly picked on by Dorothy and blanche.

Dorothy was picked on not only because of lack of men, but because she was "knocked up in high school", and her unattractivness.

Blanche was always picking on both Dorothy and Rose for not being as stunning as she, but I think Dorothy got the brunt of it.

Ps I love the episode when Rose places Dorothy's newspaper ad in the paper and it lands in the personals column. The message a reader would get was that Dorothy would "do anything for $8 an hour."
Because of her looks, a respondent to the ad offered her $4 instead!!
