Sam and Diane. To me, they had no chemistry, and Diane was always such a know-it-all snotnose. He could have done so much better. He could have dated ME!!!

Cliff and that Mail woman I forget her name. She just used Cliff as a crutch tolean on whenever she needed help or was dumped by her other boyfriends. Cliff deserved so much better than that. :(

Sam and Rebecca, they were good as friends and not as a couple, imo.

Norm and Vera. I know we never saw Vera, and I know Norm claimed to love her, and I'm sure he did. Yet, what kind of marriage was that? Your husband hangs at a bar all the time, making wisecracks about you, and is never home??
That's a lousy marriage in my book.

yea she didn't look that bad in the thanksgiving episode..but we never saw her face but from what we saw she didn't look ugly or anything...maybe she was really mean and annoying.

Nick and Loretta. Loretta disevered better than Nick, and she got stuck with him. How dreadful?

Sam and Rebecca. It always seemed like he was trying to get Rebecca to take Diane's place in a sexual way. It just didn't seem right...

I never liked the Cliff/Maggie relationship either. It seemed like it went on for several years, but he never mentioned her and she only had a few appearances. Personally, I think it would have been funny to have seen Carla hook up with him, but her hooking up with Paul was just as funny.

I definetly agree on Cliff and Maggie O'Keefe. The Maggie O'Keefe characer was depressing and pathethic. Similar to the Doris character who stalked Norm.

This was also an example of how Cliff was a good supporting character, but episodes in which he was a main focus, usually fell flat. With the exception of the "Who is Cliff Clavin" (The one where Cliff is on Jeopardy) which is an absolute classic.

I hate to bring Robin Colcord into one of my posts again, but I would have to say that he and Rebecca were the worst couple. First of all, their relationship was based a lot on money and business. I don't believe that there really ever was a true love there. For most of their relationship Robin was in jail. I don't know, it wasn't really an entertaining relationship.
