Trace Adkins Starring in Fox Country Music Drama "Monarch"

Three-time Academy of Country Music Award winner Trace Adkins has joined the cast of Fox’s midseason drama "Monarch" in a leading role. He joins previously announced cast members Susan Sarandon and Anna Friel.

Adkins will portray Albie Roman — Texas Truthteller, reigning King of Country Music and husband of Dottie Cantrell Roman (Sarandon), known as the tough-as-nails Queen of Country Music, with whom he has helped create a country music dynasty.

The series debuts with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Jan. 30, immediately following the NFC Championship Game and continuing on Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Sarandon and Adkins helm America’s first family of country music in Monarch, premiering after the NFL NFC Championship game on Fox on Jan. 30.

Trace is the only reason why I'll be tuning in tonight. :) :) :)

P.S. My only question are how many episodes have been filmed so far and should the show not get picked up for another season, will everything that has been filmed so far be put out there for us to see?

My favorite thing about the first episode of the show is Trace Adkins being a lead character on the show, but I do have to give a salute to the other cast members who were given a chance to sing on the show. The "How Do I Live" duet was most definitely a standout. :) :) :)

According to this write up here (https://musicrow.com/2022/09/monarch-makes-a-splash-with-fox-network-premiere-pulls-over-5-million-combined-viewers/), over five million people tuned into this show. 3.8 million watched the first airing and 1.5 million watched the encore. My only questions are what does that mean? In other words, are those numbers good or bad?

Tonight's episode of this show was good, but my big question is are we hearing the real singing voices that are coming from the female characters or are they using voice doubles?
