You got to know when to hold ’em and know when show ’em. CBS is following that paraphrased lyric’s advice with Kenny Rogers: All In for the Gambler, an hourlong special featuring big names performing the late singer’s hits.

It’s set to air at 9 p.m. Thursday, September 23, on the network and Paramount+.

Chris Stapleton, Idina Menzel, Lady A, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town and Reba McEntire will play songs by country-pop legend, who died last year at 81.

Dolly Parton also will take the stage to share touching memories and anecdotes about her longtime friend and duet partner, performing a series of songs that culminate in an emotional finale featuring Rogers himself.

The special was filmed at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville in 2017.

Isn't there anyone who don't realize who Kenny Rogers is? For some people who are fans of Kenny's music there is plenty to learn about but for newbies to Kenny Rogers's music this new concert will be a welcome start. I think CBS hopes that this tribute concert will be a mega hit when it debuts and by sticking the biggest names in music really will help. I find it shocking that Dolly Parton is scheduled to appear on it because Dolly and Kenny were best friends and I think she will do a wonderful job on the concert. But I think they should've brought Kim Carnes and Sheena Easton to perform because they were also Kenny's friends as well. But this concert will be a treat to watch
