I was just wondering what everyone's favorite and least favorite Disney movie is. If you don't watch them any more than what did they used to be.

Lilo and Stitch is #1....without a doubt. It used to be The Great Mouse Detective....I love that one.

I hate the sequels....they all should die.

Yup. Exactly.

Anyway, my favorite.. I like Toy Story but omg I love the Little Mermaid too. And of course... as Amy said, Cinderella is a classic.

The worst is Cinderella II and all those other dumb sequals, except for Toy Story II haha, I love that movie.

Disney has so many live action movies it's mind-boggling. I couldn't even remember all of the them. Ones that stand out in my mind as being good though include:

Mary Poppins
Watcher in the Woods
Candleshoe & Freaky Friday (but then I like Jodie Foster)
The old Don Knotts movies (The Apple Dumpling Gang, The Shakiest Gun in the West)
Old Dick Van Dyke Movies (Never a Dull Moment, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang)
The Swiss Family Robinson
All the old Disney "animal" movies (The Cat From Outer Space, The Three Lives of Thomasina, That Darn Cat, The Ugly Dachshund
Greyfriar's Bobby)
Escape To Witch Mountain
One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing (just love the title)
All the Herbie movies (Herbie, Herbie Rides Again, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Herbie Goes Bananas, etc.)
The Princess Diaries
Angels in the Outfield

Most of those movies I haven't seen in years, and while I liked them as a kid, I may not if I watched them now. But hey, they're silly kids' Disney movies, usually at the very least entertaining...I'm not expecting cinematic masterpieces here.....

For animated movies, I think the Lion King is perhaps as close as Disney has ever come to animation perfection. The whole movie is beautifully animated, with a touching story, memorable characters, and great music. I also like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Fox and the Hound, Oliver and Company, and the Rescuers Down Under.

My least favorite animated movies (not counting the various sequels) are Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Pinocchio.

I love alot of the movies on The Disney channel.
Cartoon wise I love The Little Mermaid.
I hate The Huntchback of Notre Dame. I thought it was kind of a sadistic movie. Plus I don't think Disney should profit over making
a movie about someone's physical disability.

Lion King is my favorite. I remember in 5th grade we watched that movie as a class. The guys hated it but the girls loved it. I was probably the only guy in the class the liked it.

As for least favorite, I don't know probably the older ones. That were made before the 1970's.

No one mentioned Peter Pan, which is often overlooked! Bambi is beautiful but much too dramatic for emotional/younger viewers.

I hated Mary Poppins as a kid because I had nightmares about that laughing guy that floats on the ceiling. (His voice, his " I Love to laugh song, everything about him just seemed creepy/scary)

The actor, Ed Wynn, reminds me of a scary clown without a mask and some kind of pedaphile that you'd want your kids to stay away from!

It's strange because I have friends that have commented about things in Disney movies that scarred them! (And these are supposed to be geared for children!)
