It’s been a good couple days since I visited, but I just want to inform those who have been wondering where I’ve been that I’m back!

Long story short, I’ve been experiencing frequent knee pain so I finally went to the doctor, and was requested surgery. I had the surgery on August 26, and I’m fine now, but I’m recovering. I’m a little drowsy and tired, but I’m managing.

I'm glad you're back... been wondering where you were, missed chatting about the "Bag Lady" and stuff with my favorite soap opera buddy!

I'm also glad you're recovering from your knee pain. I'm going to have to see the doctor myself as my left ear has been clogged for almost a week now. I sleep on my good ear so I never hear the alarm.

Yeah, I can’t get on my feet like I used to, so it’s gonna be a struggle, but this definitely isn’t something that I can’t get through.

Is it arthritis? If so you might want to try OmegaXL. It works very, very well. Only bad thing is that it's kinda expensive.

Yeah, it’s arthritis. My mom recommended me to try out the same thing yesterday. My plan is to try it and see if things go safe and sound.

You're mom is right. OmegaXL works wonders! It takes about 6-8 weeks for the FULL effect, but after that, my arthritis pain almost completely disappeared and my pain was awful, especially in the hips. OmegaXL is mostly made up of the green lipped mussel from New Zealand. There are cheaper versions out there if the OmegaXL is too pricey for you.

He was a regular on the show "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and way back in the day, he was on LA Law. He's pretty good.

Thanks, guys! Little improvement so far, but things are going okay. I just took an aspirin for my pain, in fact.

I see prices all over on the OmegaXL and found one that would be affordable for me, but would it work for me, I've tried so many types and the green mussel lipids too, and my knee is pretty damaged and I will NOT damage it more with a knife.

The source is about $30 for 60ct.

OmegaXL is a miracle, works wonders and is worth every penny. I used to have excruciating hip pain (arthritis) and now because of OmegaXL, the pain is about 95% gone. It does take a few weeks for it to fully kick in, but after that, the pain is gone and it's worth the wait. There are cheaper versions of the green lipped mussel but nothing works like OmegaXL.

I'm glad it worked for you but it does not work for everyone. My knee has gotten way worse in the last 11 yrs and that has been since a "clean out" which I believe made it all worse. I'm thinking on it now.

Has anyone tried ProJoint Plus? I saw it recommended but as usual you never know who's writing the recommendation.

I never heard of it.

Did you even try OmegaXL? You mentioned some sort of cleaning but you didn't mention trying OmegaXL so I'm confused.

No, I have not used it and I said I'm thinking on it. The "clean out" by surgeons was supposed to help but I believe it made things all worse, they clean out whatever cartilidge is left in the knee while they do the work. And keeping as much cartlidge as possible is important.

I have posted about PRP here, I think maybe not, and in my life these injections can really help and I've had 5 sessions in my knee and the 5th session the doc missed the spot and caused an infection, long story. Many yrs ago I had them in shoulder and got 3 yrs of pain free shoulder and could use more but the doc can't be found now. These docs move around and I can't find him now. Millions have joint issues.

I have been taking a EPA-DHA Balance product for many yrs but not as consistent as I could be. And I've taken a Green Mussel Lipid product some time ago, again consistency is necessary and it can take a good 3 months of consistency to feel change.

Okay, the way you worded your previous post made it seem like you were "thinking on it" regarding the cleaning you had.

I looked at this product and it contains some good ingredients, in my opinion, and I even take some separately, and one does not know until they try a product and give it a 3 month trial of course, and depends on far gone one's joints are.

TVLegend, glad to see you back and to hear your surgery went well! As far as OmegaXL, my husband has taken it for about a year and swears by it. He takes it because of arthritic pain and says his pain is 95% . . gone. I don't know myself because I don't have arthritis.

Interesting on your husband's use of OmegaXL, I may decide to give it a good trial, the combination of what is in the product may be the big factor, and MissT, you are very very fortunate no arthritis issues. I don't know anyone who can say that.

On the OmegaXL I've checked with the main suppliers I buy from and they don't carry it. and I find it on Amazon and Ebay, wonder why that is. I avoid buying from Amazon as best I can. I just checked 2 more suppliers and they don't sell it either...surely makes me question it and where it comes from, China????

I’ve never got the chance to watch much of The New Adventures of Old Christine. You haven't missed anything. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was great on Seinfeld, but The New Adventures of Old Christine was a lousy show all around.

My husband orders it from General Health Works, whose headquarters are in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. It's set up as auto-refill.

MissT, thanks but for now I do not want to get involved in $40+ month and so I'm going to work with my DHA-EPA softgels (will take 1 more and consistently) and add a softgel of the NZ lipids to the dose. We'll see how that goes. And being consistent is KEY. I have not been. Since I've been supplementing so long I've learned to work on myself with the money I have to spend.

Just bumping to say I bought the OmegaXL a little over two weeks ago and it’s doing wonders for me. Don’t see how I missed this thread or posting about it earlier, but I am feeling way better than I was at first.
