I've heard from some people that there are 9 Hour video tapes, but I haven't seen any...
Does anyone know where to find them? (if they even exist :))

I've seem 10 hours, and I believe I've seen 9 hours. I've only seen the 10 hour at a local Target, but I'm sure they can be found at Wal-Mart or any other electronics store. They do exist.

...tapes that exceed the norm of 6 hours, but I'd stay away from them!
And for the same reason I don't buy cassettes that are longer than 60 minutes...the added tape will add stress to your machine, and I'm sure the sound and picture quality would be compromised with that much more tape!

i have seen 9 hour tapes. not 10 hours. i am never going to get a 9 hour one, because the more hours on the tape the worse the picture and sound is. i am sticking with my 6 hour tapes or sometimes 8 hours.

I've only seen 8 hour tapes. I didn't know they made 9 and 10 hour tapes. But, I don't usually buy tapes that are more than 6 hours long on EP. But, I usually tape stuff on SP, so I can try to not put too much stress on my VCR.

Well, right now I'm using 8 hour tapes and the sound and picture quality is good, but I guess I won't buy any 9 or 10 hour ones. :)
Thanks for the replies.

As for 9 hour tapes, I have seen them at Radio Shack if your looking for them, but until today I was surprised they ever would make them, for me I stick to the 8hr tapes.
