I was watching an episode of Press Your Luck on the ABC app this morning and noticed that every single contestant that played won $0 and the guy whose name was Mathew also won $0 in the final round and so i'm wondering if during the original Press Your Luck if any contestants had done this? I read that on an episode of Whammy the same thing happened and the winning player returned on an episode for a second chance. I also noticed that during each episode they play songs at the end with a recap of that episode as well too

In that episode, I believe Elizabeth said it was the first time in PYL history that that had happened, meaning all incarnations of the show. That one was somethin', wasn't it? Was that the same episode where the one female took 11 passed spins and didn't get a whammy, and then got one in the final showdown spin?

Hi, Bestie! If everybody won 0, who would be the winner? Would they have everybody come back? Hmmm

I believe that was the same episode I saw that morning. I cannot believe that Mathew was smart to play in the bonus round but he should've taken the money when Elizabeth asked him to but he said no and lost everything. I have started watching Press Your Luck because Elizabeth Banks hosts it and because she voices Wildstyle Lucy in The Lego Movie. But Press Your Luck should invite Mathew back for a second chance

I know that on a Jeopardy episode all the contestants ended up with $0, which apparently was a very rare event. All three players lost, and it was noteworthy enough to be on the news. However if two contestants or all three tie with the same amount, the ones with the highest total comes back. So if all the contestants ended up with $1, they would play another round but $0, they would be disqualified.

How about the game who learned the pattern of the Press My Luck board and won a record amount of money. Guy was unemployed watching the show and learned the patterns by taping it.

Lost all of his money (a lot was stolen) and was still broke. Tried to get CBS to bring him back for a “Tournament of Champions” and CBS replied with a big “BEEP No.”

Then he died.
