Was a jock with a heart at many times during the series.

Looking back on the role that he played during Zack's driver education scheme, Slater is lucky that two weeks of detention is all that he got for a punishment considering all that took place while he was driving that vehicle. He crashed it and if the lockers that he had driven into had come down on Kelly hard enough, she could've ended up in the hospital which only would've led to a lawsuit against the school and maybe even an arrest.

P.S. Zack is lucky that he wasn't expelled. My big question is was anymore done to him besides his having to go to a whole other class all together? Was there a suspension at all for him?

Slater is probably my favorite character in the show, besides Kelly.

Some of my favorite moments with him is whenever he made bets with Zack. Like the time he bet Zack that he can make Screech win the beauty pageant, or the time when he bets Zack that he can skip every class in school without being caught by Mr. Belding. That's one of my favorite episodes.

^^^ To me, what was great about the bet concerning Screech's presence in the beauty pageant was Zack giving back the money though I wouldn't have blamed him if he had kept it. When Slater decided to enter the pageant, Zack only saw that move as Slater's way of trying to make it harder for Screech to win which is why I don't blame Zack for only adding more heat to the fire by making the school think that Slater gave Screech the black eye that he had really been given by his robot friend named Kevin.

P.S. To me, what Screech had to say for his pageant speech is what took him all the way. In other words, his frame of mind is what made all of the difference.

I just thought it was really funny how Zack and Slater's antics caused the beauty pageant to be sabotaged by Screech.

Realistically, Kelly should have won, but yeah.
