I noticed in the pilot episode that Darrin Stephens name is spelled Darren in the cast credits but in the very next episode his name is spelled Darrin in the cast credits?
Does anyone know why this name spelling change happened?
Is there a story behind it?

I have the pilot on DVD and VHS. It's spelled "Darrin" in the credits. Where do you see "Darren"?

You're correct...
I thought that I saw something in the credits while watching the Pilot episode and second episode that I didn't really see once I went back and double check it out.

Incidentally in one episode Samantha argues with Endora spelling his name out for her "D-A-R-R-I-N" she said.
On a related note, I figured they initially spelled Tabitha as Tabatha because it gave it three "a"s in the name like Samantha. I prefer that to Tabitha.

It would be interesting to know why someone decided it needed to be Tabitha. Or, maybe it was just a mistake, not a conscious decision. OR, maybe Pandora Spocks made the decision.
