How much older or younger would you date someone? I'd say I would date someone between 18 and 29. I'm 19 so I'd date someone 10 years older. But at this time I would only date someone 1 year younger than me. After that it would be illegal to do so.

i'm 18.. the highest i would go is 30, and i'd have to really love the guy!! but as far as "searching" for the right guy.. i keep it 18 to 21 or 23

I don't mind a small difference in age, but I wouldn't be the type to go with an 80 year old man either.

It depends on the guy. Right now, I'd say up to 40. I wouldn't go down very far though.

I'm 19 and I would date anyone between the ages of 16 and 23. And yes, age does matter to me.

That's just gross to go out with someone that age when your really young. It's like the Anna Nicole Smith girl she was just nasty. She married a guy in his 80's or 90's I think she is in her 30's.

I don't really care about a mans age (just as long as he isn't as old as my dad) I care more about a guys personality, morals and charm but if I had to choose I would probably go out with someone between 17-30 I'm 20

I'm 20. I don't think age is too important as long as you're both on the same level mentally. I probably wouldn't date a guy that was younger than 18, you know, 'cause of jailbait laws and such. ;) But, I don't have a max on an age I'd date. If they're older, have kept up well physically, and we get along great, why not?

I don't think age does matter! I'm almost 12, I don't wanna be goin' out with a 30 year old man! (eww....unless he's Jay Harrington LOL j/k..actually he's 31....) But right now, someone between 12-15. (I have a boyfriend now and he's 11; but oh well!)

As far as younger goes, I wouldn't go past 3 years. Older, 10 years.

Im 16 and yeah, age does matter some but it shouldnt be a huge thing when it comes to dating.
I'd say I'd date someone between 15 and 18, I would say older but the laws get so freakish past there that its easier just not to have to worry about it. I also think that it doesnt matter as much when you're older, (ex: a 16 yr old dating a 23 yr old compared to a 25 yr old dating 32 yr old. the former seems to be more of an issue)

I don't have any set rules I impose on myself when it comes to age. I don't think "well, that person is 6 years older than me so I'd better not get involved with them".
I guess it would just depend on the circumstances. Age isn't a big deal when you're older but it's different when you're young. A five-year age gap is a big deal when one person is 14 and the other is 19. But the same 5 year gap doesn't matter so much when one person is 20 and the other is 25. You see what I'm saying?

Age does matter to me, I'm 15, so they guy needs to be at least 15 - 18, I think it's wrong for the guy to be older than the girl...

I'm exactly the opposite. I prefer an older guy.

I wouldn't go too much younger or older, but I think a 5-year difference would be my maximum. Right now, I'm 16 -- obviously, though, I'm not going to date an 11-year old, but if they were a little younger (like one or two years max.), it'd be fine with me. I seem to like older guys. (WAY older.) I'm 15 and have crushes on anyone ranging from 15 to 54. Which is kinda sad.

Doesn't mean I'd DATE at 54-year-old, but I guess that goes to show age shoesn't matter to me.

When it comes to dating/marrying, I'd go no further than 25 year gap.

For me, I'd be willing to go out with somebody that's 4 years older then me to 2 years younger then me.

I have always had a rule that I would never date anyone who was younger than my sister, who is four years younger than me. Of course, I made up this rule when I was younger - to avoid any unpleasantness with Policemen who might throw me in jail.

Now, since my sister is in her late twenties, I am willing to bend the rules a bit. So if Brittany Spears or Kirsten Dunst are looking for trouble, I'm your man!

Age doesn't matter to me at all.. If I like a person then I like them.. but will not date anyone that is under the age of 18. I would date anyone that is between the ages of 18 to 34
