Not much room between the end of the beds, and walking space for Ward to get to the door. Later on in the episode the bedroom's configuration is a bigger room, set up differently.

B & W room, and J & W room had upstairs bathrooms. I never remember a downstairs bathroom. Guests would have to walk upstairs into a bedroom?

The house plan book shows a half bath under the stairs of the 2nd house, but Wally makes a comment one time about the possibility of adding one.

I don't think any house plan would have upstairs bathrooms only accessible thru a bedroom. And I think a two story house built around 1959 would have a bath or half bath downstairs.

We had neighbors back around then who had a two story house. The downstairs was a large rec. room and it had either a half or full bath. The upstairs had a dual-entry bath with one ent. from the hall and one from the master bedroom.
