Monday's are O&H day for me. Today's episode was "Helpful Neighbor" 7.12. It was about Ozzie starting out to play golf. When neighbor Parley Baer snares him into going to buy paint for him (as long as you're in town) and then Doc tells him to pick up something or other and Harriet wants him to pick up chocolate eclairs for a woman's meeting Ozzie volunteered Harriet for. Well, naturally the word "no" never occurs to our boy Oz.

After seeing the show it seemed familiar to me, I believe I've seen it on TV sometime (I've been watching the Mp4s I've downloaded for the past couple months). BUT the big difference came at the end when Ozzie sings a rockish and rollish kind of song, complete with Elvis reverb added (even though he's just standing on the stairs with no mic) and with Ricky's backup group of guys, then Ricky sings a song (with reverb) as he's also standing on the stairway w/no mic along with his guys backing him up. So 2 songs I never saw in the TV version, never even realized what I was missing till today, as the songs had nothing to do with the plot.

OH, the REAL memorable thing and side benefit of this episode was getting to see the beautiful Penny Edwards (BRIEFLY) as the girl in the car who got Ozzie to help her start it. What a beauty she was, I first became familiar with her from her color Roy Rogers movie appearances.
