Actress and model Shelley Hack, who starred in a season of the classic TV series “Charlie’s Angels,” has shown a knack for real estate.
Listed just last month for $8,849,000, her Santa Monica, CA, compound was recently sold for a whopping $11,431,200. The Los Angeles Times (https://www.latimes.com/business/real-estate/story/2021-07-22/charlies-angels-star-shelley-hack-sells-santa-monica-home-for-11-4-million) first reported on the sale.
Hack and her husband, Harry Winer, purchased the home in 1988 for $1,600,000, which means they made out with a sizable upside on their longtime residence.
Also sizable is the appeal of the secluded half-acre compound with a 99-year-old, two-story Craftsman set behind hedges.
With five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the spread includes a main house, one-bedroom guesthouse, and rustic barn which could be used for anything from yoga to entertaining.
The main residence features a quaint front porch, and architectural elements of the era include coved ceilings, arched and columned doorways, and light and cozy fireplaces.
