roseanne and david were in a movie together that was about how her son played football but there was a father son game but he had no dad so roseanne being his mother got a bunch of moms together well i think it was backfeild in motion or maye not im not sure but was that before or after they casted david on the show??? i dont quite understand...

The movie was made first. Roseanne liked him so much that she wanted to bring him onthe show. Oh yeah she was also trying to set him up with Sara Gilbert in real life.
