Hey guys,

I've heard a couple of interviews with Donald P. Bellisario and even though Larson and Bellisario co-created Magnum P.I. and Larson created both The Fall Guy and Knight Rider, Bellisario became the show's forerunner after the 2 Hour Pilot in which Larson & Bellisario both co-wrote and co-produced and according to Bellisario, Magnum, P.I. himself Tom Selleck didn't want to work with Larson

What was the deal on that? Was it conflict between the 2 of them or was it the fact that Selleck and Larson didn't get along or was there some history between the 2 of them? What was it?

Most likely an clash of egos over some particulars of the show and/or the character of Magnum.

I wouldn't necessarily trust anything Donald Bellisario says about his stars considering how he didn't get along with Mark Harmon on NCIS. Tom Selleck seems to be a classy guy who doesn't cause problems. A lot of Hollywood could learn from Tom.
