MLB and the controversial media company have had "significant negotiations" to bring its national midweek games to Barstool platforms, reports the New York Post's Andrew Marchand. "MLB and Barstool potentially could team up to create a new type of broadcast with a focus on in-game gambling," reports Marchand. "The talks have started recently, and while they have picked up steam, an agreement is not yet a certainty. One source deemed it '50-50.'"

Seems like most of the emphasis of the game is shifting away from actual achievement, in favor of any way to squeeze an additional buck.

The ads I've been seeing during games make it pretty obvious that they are targeting viewers with little or no gambling experience.....

So, will all this end up vindicating Pete Rose?
