The Nanny gets a lot of flack from those who can't stand Fran Drescher's voice. But I think whiny Ray Romano is worse, he lucked out with a fantastic supporting cast on Everybody Loves Raymond. Roseanne also has a disgusting speaking voice that is worse than Fran's. I am leaving her out of the poll though, the main question here is Ray vs. Fran.

I was never irritated by Fran's voice. And yes, she is a very beautiful woman. As for annoying voices... that's Ray Romano with his constant whining.

I enjoyed watching both The Nanny and Everybody Loves Raymond but I'm going to give a slight edge to Ray Romano. He's the anchor for a very talented cast and the show had a long run that's still popular in reruns.

The Nanny was a huge hit here in Italy, probably the most seen, followed and loved sitcom in the decade. I still love the show.

Ray's voice bothered me more than Fran's. It reminds me of a little kid who doesn't get his way and then starts whining about it.
