I see so much moaning and groaning of what one doesn't have and I may have been there long ago and once I found to make a Gratitude List of my life's experiences and people in it, I have NEVER complained again about "what I don't have"..... We all have so much and so fortunate to live in a land of plenty and opportunities. It's infinite what we can have and achieve.

And believe ME, it's everywhere, so many unlightened people who only dwell on what they don't have. I hear it from very wealthy friends in my life too....I shake them up with what they are saying and thinking.

If this sounds like something you can make, do it: Make a Gratitude List. :)

You will have far far more Pros than Cons.

I only have one regret in my life. That I was too kind to some people, treatment wise, who didn't deserve it, AND that I wasn't kind enough to some people who deserved better than I gave them. Other than that, I'm pretty content. Knowing who to trust is not an exact science, unfortunately.

Just talking to my neighbor and her mother is my age and lives in FL, and we were talking about life things and how my friend Loves CA Life, and how negative her mother is and is forever complaining, and yet she has so much and pretty good health too. She is forever trying to get her mother to "change mindset"...many never do.

I'm content and I lent money to a friend and she paid it back pretty quickly, a relative tried to borrow money and I said no, I'd never see it again. He is a person who spends like he has a Rolex bank account and he always had a Timex bank account.

I have a lot of gratitude for life. I think life is so beautiful. I appreciate the simplest things like the stars in the sky, flowers, seeing a hummingbird, etc.

I am blessed that I have a good family that I have a healthy relationship with. I am lucky that I live in a beautiful area and that I have a roof over my head and a car for transportation.

I have tremendous gratitude for having good friends that are always there when I need them.

I am thankful for life in general. :)

Pros, I have a few regrets in my past (but don't we all). I have forgiven my past and moved on. I consider the mistakes I made as learning experiences.

Oh, I complain about things,... mostly so those who think I'm too stupid to know what they are up to, learn differently. I can rag for hours on end about 4th amendment abuse. But that does not mean I am dissatisfied with life. Some people just disappoint me. ;)

I explained to a boss several years ago that just because I am complaining, that doesn't mean that I am "mad". Quite to the contrary, if I am complaining then that means that I still believe there is an opportunity to resolve "whatever".

It's when I clam up that I'm most likely to be mad, because I see there being little hope toward a mutually acceptable solution. I guess that I am weird that way?

Oh I had so many bosses in my life's jobs and when I had enough of their control and stupidity, I would move on, back in my work days, jobs were a dime a dozen. So much change since my work life. But I did have some smart bosses and learned from their advice.

Now there is so much we can't change but I continue to print what I believe and have to believe things will change and we are not terminal. Change is constant.

I'm the same way. People are better off if I'm voicing my opinion.

Nothing added here for over 2 yrs. A big gratitude in my life is that my grandparents landed on Ellis Island about 1900 and gave me the U.S. as my homeland.

A couple members only have gratitudes, or MOST have no interest in talking about them.....,

Just had a quality 6 week session with an in home Physical Therapist. She came to my house two times a week for 30 minute session. I will miss her visits. Now I gotta do more of the strengthening work she taught me with bands...

Guess I'll play alone for a while as I remember nice events and people in my life. Many yrs ago I was goiong thru a personal struggle and went back to see my parents and old time friends in the East, and a dear older woman straightened me out with her wisdom on what I was feeling. Her words truly helped turn so much around for me on the issue I was struggling with... So all you kids, don't brush off the oldies but goodies out there who come into our lives...

I'm grateful for two beautiful days here . Not too hot, not to cold. Sunny . Yesterday I sunbathed , and today was out running errands on foot, right now enjoying the late afternoon sitting on my porch enjoying a beer waiting for my Hubby to get home. Simple dinner, some leftovers but I gotta go in and make the salad soon! ;)

Enjoyable, peaceful , sunny ( but not too hot ) days RULE !!:)

Grateful for a nice Husband, two healthy Sons and other family and friends , good neighbors ! :)

Can't ask for much more Bonnie. Living so close to the ocean, often mornings are overcast and I can be certain that a mile or so inland it's warmer and sunny. I'm hearing warmer tomorrow.

Yes . Inland when it is hot it is really hot , we envy the people near the beach ! But in cooler weather it does get pretty cold on the coast where you are! Stay warm! As for me, I'm only a few years out of menopause so I still get the hot flashes regardless of the weather, so cooler weather kind of suits me. But I love the sun , sitting outside reading a good book or on the internet on my cell phone ,but can't do it for long if it's too hot out ! ;)

Oh Bonnie, you spring chicken!!! Age was never an issue in my life and I just went thru my years with Ease and now since I life with the damage of hip surgery, it's really a major challenge for me...if I didn't have the damage I'd be in great shape...85. I just lost a neighbor at 96 and we thought she'd live forever, but her body was spent and she's gone. Just setting in that I won't be able to talk to her again....

Anyone have some good to share?

I do, I connected with some dear friends in my life from the 80's in San Jose and I just got volumns of family photos from Jeanne. I took care of their two boys ages 8 and 6 and the boys are now 38 and 36...what a high point in my recent life.

I searched for them off and on for some yrs.....and Success...

I’m an optimist who looks at things half full so I could go on all day about all the good things in my life, but I will just mention 3 things that remind me daily of how lucky I am.

My beautiful wife of 21 years and my two amazing children who are both in College.

Today is gonna be another day of perfect weather. We have lived a block from the Pacific Ocean for the last 20 years and have become spoiled with amazing weather on most days hard to not be in a good mood most of the time.

I’m grateful everyday I wake up. I died and was brought back to life a couple years ago and was given very little chance at living. I beat the odds and it has given me a positive outlook. I’ve learned to not let the little things in life bother me. I appreciate the good things everyday.
