I really hate Sam from Diff'rent Strokes. I hated how he always copied Arnold, how he always stuck around him. I hated his southern voice...you could tell he was faking it....In the final season where this guy kidnapped him, I wish Maggie and Phillip never went out to look for them. Should of just left them with that family.

Oh, and why wasn't Dana Plato in the opening credits of the final season?

I think because Dana had been oficially sacked from the show and was only ever a guest. She was only in 4 anyway, and she didn't have her name up in the previous season either.

Diff'rent Strokes tried to bring back the cuteness of the show by introducing Sam. The problem was, he was the completely WRONG choice. To be honest, I don't think anybody could've filled Arnold Jacksons little red sneakers!

sam is a okay guy but it seems like the show isnt funny like it used to. But I still love Gary Colman.

I don't think Sam is as annoying as everyone makes out, when you get used to him- but he was no sub for small Arnold like they wanted him to be.
Dixie as Maggie annoys me a lot more than him.

Personally , I really liked Sam. I thought he was cute.

I thought little Sam was kinda cute too! I saw the actor in other things before I started watching DS recently, so it was cool seeing him as a little kid! IThe actor played Budnick on the Nickelodeon show "Salute Your Shorts," among other things, and that was one of my favorites when I was a kid!

He was okay, although he kind of annoyed me a lot.

I hate Sam! That's all there is.

He was a little on the annoying side I thought.

I never really liked any of those kids who came onto a struggling series to boost ratings. Or better known as either Cousin Oliver kid or a bring in a Brad. Sam is the one I hated the most. Though one of those type of kids character I did like was played by the same person who played Willis girlfriend Charlene. That's right Penny Gorden from Good Times might be the only Cousin Oliver type character I liked. Maybe I can add Ramone Symoe from the Cosby show to that list.

Anyway, I hate Sam.
