I'm taking a social sciences class right now, and we were assigned to come up with our own Affirmative Action plan. Mine was pretty simple - I think that race should have nothing to do with education or employment opportunities, and just ruled it out. What do you guys think? I personally believe that giving a person a job based on race - is racist. My teacher was shocked, but I still believe this firmly. I hope no one thinks I'm trying to offend them, I'm just wondering what your opinions are. :)
