In 1999-2001 a unique talk show made it's debut in syndication called The Other Half. While trying to compete with The View and other talk shows what made The Other Half unique was it was the first talk show with all male hosts "two of the hosts of The Other Half were Mario Lopez and sitcom star Danny Bonaduce" that featured all sorts of topics such as celebrity interviews cooking segments singing performances and more. Though people called The Other Half a male version of The View the show got cancelled in 2001 due to weak ratings
