Who here has Optimum Cable (Cablevision), but no Decades channel?

I contacted Optimum last week, and the representative informed me that there would be a greater chance of Optimum negotiating a new contract to re-include the Decades channel if more costumers contacted Optimum to express their desire for Decades.

On this note, the following is very simple.

If each of you simply visits optimum.net, click on the Message Me tab near the side of the window, and then click on Start or Upgrade services, and then explain that you would like Decades re-added to the line-up, it can improve the chances of Optimum bringing Decades back to the line-up.

Did your local, over-the-air Decades affiliate drop it? Decades is an over-the-air digital subchannel, not a cable network, and your local cable company can only carry it if one of your local stations carries it.

If the OP is in the NY metro area, where Optimum/Cablevision operates, Decades is seen on a subchannel of WNYW.

WNYW should be receivable over the air with an indoor antenna likely within 30 miles. At least more so than Decades in the Philly area, where Decades is on a low VHF station.

Apparently, Decades is carried on locast, but locast doesn't have DVR and adds inserts requesting one to donate to them.

I got an antenna and have Decades, but actually don't watch it as much. I like I Love Lucy, but ended up buying the entire series DVD set, which isn't expensive and widely available. The streaming services like Hulu and Paramount have many episodes missing. MTM is available on Hulu, in entirety.
