Damn!! if this was true he would have been put in a crazier position.

According to that write up, Jaleel got close to scoring the role as Rudy on The Cosby Show due to the fact that the character was originally supposed to be a male. I wonder why the powers that be decided that the husband and wife on that show would only have one son and so many daughters.

P.S. As for the issue of people dressing up as the opposite gender, I can understand why it was done on the show. Only Jaleel could've played the character since the character was a relative of who he normally portrayed, but in real life, I don't see the point in helping a person lie about who they really are so that they can pretend to be someone else. Why can't people just leave certain things the way that they naturally are when there is really nothing wrong with their bodies in the first place?
