Has anyone heard from Oh Nuts? It's been almost 2 weeks since the last post. Hoping everything is okay.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! He was a very nice fixture on the game boards! :)

I had a theory maybe he was getting upset being there has been a lot of negativity lately here on S.O. ( politics boards mainly) , :( but he is always a very nice diplomatic person and I figured he would still be on the game threads! I was getting worried too, :confused: glad he logged in last night! Hope he starts posting again soon ! ;)

I hope he returns to posting soon. I used to like his posts.

I agree, he'll be back and he's been fair with me.

Rich had mentioned something about a surgery that would keep him offline for awhile.

I like Oh Nuts, brings a lot of sanity to this board.

I've been thinking the same thing about Oh Nuts, Hope he is doing okay & comes back soon.

I thought that he was busy with work, and I didn't know that he was getting surgery.

I particularly logged on to my PMs to see if there was any word on Janice. I’m very concerned about her. She’s been a dear friend for 15+ years and if she doesn’t return I’m seriously thinking of leaving S.O. - it just wouldn’t be the same without her.

Only you know what is best for you. I enjoyed it when you played Games.

There are many spices in life (variety is the spice of life) like interests and I know that's why I joined so many forums in my life, staying in one place is not me. I know you are not asking me but throwing it out. Right now I'm probably juggling 6 or so forums and some get more attention than others, some are more interesting and some plain boring. I can do this as I don't work and this is a pasttime for my long days.

If someone who had been really active like you left that would further make SO less trafficked.

Reading this, I get that so many put a lot of weight on Janice's presence. I don't know Janice as I'm so new and almost gone early on, but forums do come and go and SO seems to have been around for a long long time, I would have never known about it if not for Dude. Most forums I believe are word of mouth unless one happens on one while browsing. Or does a search for a particular topic.

Great seeing you post again, OH Nuts! I echo everyone's sentiments on how you've been an extremely valuable member on here over the years. It would be a shame if you decided to leave, but in the end you have to do what's best for you and I will respect whatever decision you ultimately make. I'm glad that you are back. I hope you stick around.

I've only received one e-mail from Janice around Easter since January. I don't know if she plans on coming back or not. She hasn't logged in since January 15.

I would suggest you drop her an e-mail to say hello. It's listed in her profile. She probably would see any private messages to her e-mail address, but since she hasn't logged in she hasn't responded to any of them.

She knows she's appreciated and missed, but it's her call whether she wants to return or not. She's been less active in recent years, but I agree that it's not the same without her. She's still had a presence the last few years. She's been through a lot the past couple years. I'm not sure if her heart is still in it or not.

What? I have NEVER gotten the impression you are not wanted around here and as the NEWBIE, if anyone is not wanted it's me. I enjoy our short interactions and they are nice and civil.

So funny how we see ourselves at times. Bonnie, you’re one my favorite posters and I personally think you are well-liked. What threads were you talking about anyways, I haven’t noticed others ignoring you.

I had to take a break from posting because of my mom's medical appointments and something happening to my dad work-wise.

Some of them aren't really troublemakers, they're just annoying.
