Took SteveA's advice and today I saw Ozzie's "Tangled Web". As with almost all of the last season it seems, this was another one with an interesting storyline. It also had some funny moments, Clara is really good in these shows, she's genuinely funny, has a funny voice, knows how to deliver a line and her faces are terrific. I even liked Joe in this show, usually I find him annoying. Ozzie was his usual milquetoast self but he was funny this time while being pushed around. He kept opening his big mouth getting himself deeper in trouble. Harriet even gave Ozzie what looked like a hard kick, that was supposed to be funny when the woman abuses the man, when we all can get a big laugh when a man boots a woman, I'll laugh at men getting hurt.

Ricky the somnambulist even sang a song in his most subdued manner. Were his eyes permanently 1/2 closed? I felt like throwing a glass of water in his face.

Really liked the color in this show. When I was a teen my family moved into a real old house in 1971 they had a bright red kitchen counter top just like the one you see in Harriet's kitchen. We took that red counter top out and replaced it with a bright green one. :crazy:It was the early '70's what can I tell you.

A nice enjoyable show that wasn't annoying. The characters were themselves but not overboard (except for Harriet kicking Ozzie full force). A good show. My color copy was a little blurry, but I guess that's as good as it gets.

Even the bit-part lady was given some funny lines (Ozzie, to visiting lady: Clara has told me so much about you. Lady: Really? What did she say about me?). As far as Ricky singing goes, on Youtube now they have his song covered by the closing theme. Probably somebody made a copyright complaint.

Also, that kick looked real!

I don't use UTube because I still can't figure out how to download from there. I used Internet Archive for my version. There sleepy time Ricky sings.

That's what I thought, she really seemed to let 'er rip when she kicked Ozzie. Unless Ozzie had steel shin guards, that must have hurt. That's why I didn't think it so funny.

Speaking of Utube, a couple days ago I found a place that claims to have all episodes from every season. Well, the first one I went to to see on this Utbue place was episode 2 The Poet, as this seems to be missing from everywhere. When I started watching it it was obvious this was not episode 2 as the boys were all grown up and they had a very brief "remember when" scene when Ozzie wanted Tutti Frutti ice cream. How disappointing and how misleading to claim to have all episodes and while you list them all when you click on them they're not the episode it should be. :(

Another "missing" episode, this one from season 14, is "The Hong Kong Suit."
