I’ve noticed that the Ginger character always seems to be wearing wigs on the show. At least they look like wigs. If so, why did the producers require this. Wasn’t her own hair nice enough?

I often wonder about actresses and wigs

so many sit coms have stories about a wig is much less expensive than having the real hair done on the set ...

so now when I watch these I find myself trying to figure out what's a wig and whats real

I enjoy "many" of the pretty actresses on older sit coms, for the most part I have no clue which wear wigs !

I love to have someone with knowledge point out specifics

One I can tell is season 1 of the Brady Bunch, the mom's wig is obvious & terrible

Yes, it hard to tell sometimes but I think Tina Louise wore a lot of wigs. Not all the time, but a good bit of it.

I read Shelly Long REQUIRED Wigs on Cheers so the Burning Lights wouldn't destroy her real hair !

I'm pretty sure Eva Gabor wore wigs on Green Acres .
