I came across an article in the October 31st, 1964 issue of TV Guide. In the article was the following account:
Once she and Aaron Spelling were driving hell-bent (their usual rate of speed,) for the studio when Carolyn spotted a small tear-stained little boy alone in a deserted school yard. Carolyn insisted on stopping, dried the boy's tears and discovered that the child's mother had forgotten it was a holiday. She sent Spelling on to the studio, ordered up a studio limousine and delivered the child personally some 10 miles in Granada Hills.
