Why wasn't spoons put back on the air during Rick's 3 years on Nypd blue I would think that the powers that be would have wanted to cash on Rick's new found celebrity. Also Why wasn't Rick on and in more magazines during that time I would think that since he was so huge in the 80's and then a big name again in the late 90's early 2000 that Rick would be every where like GQ People magazine etc. His story of survival is inspiring to us all and the fact that he found love at an early age that he married young and has a big family that he is so proud of to the point of giving up Ny to be at his wife's side during there hard time of her losing a baby and then naming there new daughter Faith. Also they have such a beautiful home that for those of you have seen pics of it know what I'm talking about. I just think it's a shame that we couldn't see and read more about Rick's story in books and magazines (the truth from him and not false gossip!!)something that could bring us a little bit closer to the boy who became such a wonderful man. What do you all think?

Yeah, Athena. I also wonder why Silver Spoons wasn't back on TV during Ricks' years on NYPD Blue. I think Rick is a cool guy. He really deserves all the success that he's had. I also think it's a shame that we can't read more about his story of being a child star in magazines. I read an article off the internet once from Parade magazine, but it didn't say much. Just about a publicity tour he took when he won a globe at the age of nine and about when he was in his grade 12 year at a high school in Los Angeles he felt like he didn't fit in. Other than that, I don't know much about his career.

I believe it was recorded by the 2 last year since during it John talks about filming Ali. Rick has 2 boys Holden and Luke and 2 girls Cambire and Faith who will be 1 in Aug.
