Mid, to late 70's, there was a PSA in 2 versions, a quick one and one that ran a minute or two. The family had to trick the workaholic father into a camper and force him to go on vacation. It was semi-sweet, with a hint of comedic irony, and I can't seem to find either version on the webs.
Sound familiar? Anyone seen this one recently in the wild in passing?
Also, an anti-smoking cartoon from the American Lung Association (probably as old as 1974) with a cartoon rabbit, who decided it was time to "kick the habit".
