On the death subject and what to say etc....I found this Poem years ago when a dear friend died, and he would not want the people in his life to mourn a long time for him. This may not be appropriate for all but I find it very comforting.
His daughters had this printed on his memorial card.
This dear friend was a great teacher in my life and helped me get rid of old drag me down beliefs and his memorial was in a beautiful park and his kids even had a brick planted near a bench with his name. A very liberated man.

I have seen this a lot on memorial cards at funeral homes lately!
As if all of a sudden it became available or allowed to be used.
Everyone seems to pick it, at least around here.

Interesting, I don't go to funeral homes anymore, burying my dad in 2005 was my last time and I don't even know if he had cards, I don't have one.
But the words in the poem make so much sense to me, let me go when it's time and don't mourn and mourn, do some and remember the good things, We've had them.

A great poem you should look up is one called The Life That I Have and it's by a guy named Leo Marks and it's a very beautiful poem about saying goodbye to a loved one. I actually found this poem in my Heartland horse books and I really liked it a lot
