I don't know if there are California members here but I want to bring up the huge real estate market in CA.

The property I'm going to link was bought by a former boss in the 70's for about $200K, and I was involved in going thru it all with him. I looked at this a couple yrs ago and it was appraised for about $8Million.

One year!!! When I moved here in the mid 60's talk about shock...we looked at a house back then that was priced at $76K, we just sold a house in the East for like $24K, so could not fathom that. Today that $76K house is over $2Million.
