I noticed in music that The Isley Brothers song Between The Sheets is sampled a lot in popular songs today and I want to know why it's a most popular song to sample? Is it because the song has a nice beat and very soothing? Because it seems that every singer from Whitney Houston to Gwen Stefani samples this song in their hit songs like Whitney used it for the song One Of These Days and Gwen Stefani sampled it in her song Luxurious and I have never seen a song by The Isley Brothers get so popular by being sampled so much. The only other song by The Isley Brothers that gets sampled very little was Footsteps In The Dark when it was first sampled on Ice Cube's hit Today Was A Good Day
