I wouldn’t mind her father returning, but watching Zoey is equivalent to having a headache. Every time I see her face I think of nothing but barfing. Her sister, Paris has potential as a character, but she’s being pushed to the side and used as a handmaid for Zoey.

I think you’re talking about Ivy. But yeah, Bradley’s definitely insulted his father’s legacy with his writing. Maya/Rick was awful but I don’t think that was his absolute worst. So far the Maya/Rick storyline and the Liam/Steffy/Hope love triangle storyline are running neck and neck. Bradley needs to invite his sister-in-law, Maria Arena Bell to the show. Maybe she could improve things.

With them, as soon as a storyline advances or even gets the slightest bit better, they bring on a bunch of new characters, played by the most generic and weakest actors (hence Sutton Ames, Ashland Locke, The Bag Lady) with no thought put into it and the characters have no background or motivation or build up whatsoever, which defeats their purpose.

It really was disgusting how they tied Flo to Stormy. I hate that... wish she would have rotted in prison where she belongs. She's gross and doesn't deserve Wyatt but then again, Wyatt is a giant horse's rear end for taking up with the woman who helped keep his brother's baby from him.

I don’t remember Amelia playing Katie but she does play Victoria, but she’s so flat and mismatch for the role. She can’t take on someone strong, fierce, and ruthless like Victoria. Overall, her version of the role has been a bitter, nasty, weak woman who can’t keep a man and is a failure when it comes to business. Almost the exact opposite. Right now, the only thing she has interesting going on is her basically flipping off Lily with this whole Billy/Lily/Victoria love triangle. I’ll cut Amelia’s Victoria some slack there since Billy and Lily are just disgusting and beyond stupid. I wish that Y&R would’ve casted Amelia as Mackenzie when Ashley Bashioum left the role and had Rachel Kimsey play Victoria instead.

I find it somewhat hard to sympathize with Thomas who was full of anger about someone leaving Vinnie on the side of the road for dead. Does Thomas forget that he did the very same thing to Emma? What is even more ridiculous is that Thomas and Ridge didn't call the cops on Justin when they had the chance. They are actually going to take him up on his stupid offer. B&B is now stealing 25 year old storylines from Beverly Hills, 90210. Just like with B&B, 25+ years ago, Beverly Hills 90210 had a story about Steve Sanders who always knew he was adopted but what he didn't know was that his "adoptive" father, Rush was actually his real, bio dad who knocked up some lady and convinced his wife to adopt baby Steve. Also like B&B, the wife had no idea that the baby was a product of infidelity.
The only difference with the stories is that the bio mom on Beverly Hills was dead from a car crash and she was not a crazed lunatic like Shelia.

I finally saw Tuesday’s episode. Three hypocrites at a table: DUMBa, Bimbo, eh hem, sorry, Brooke, and Katie. I agree with you about Justin. Donna and Justin ended up getting married after her divorce from Eric. That was a super brief marriage. The writers should have kept them together. It’s okay, at best. Basically, it’s about the Cryer, Harrington, and poor Young families. At the beginning of the series, the Cryer patriarch, Jim, was cheating on his wife, Katheryn, with his maid’s daughter, Candice Young. Lots of other things happened, but it’s basically a more watchable version of Passions with a Y&R spin to it.

Ridge and Taylor are on the verge of marrying again. Ridge dumped Brooke after he heard her voice messaging CPS. "Brooke" was complaining that Thomas is a dangerous father and that he "has a knife." The knife was actually a tiny knife that Thomas was using to peel an apple. But she was truly outraged about the knife :lol: but the voice to CPS was actually from an app on Douglas' phone that Thomas swiped. Thomas used his own voice to make the phony CPS call, then he switched his voice to Brooke's processed voice on the app. Complicated stuff. But it worked very good and made it seem as if it actually was Brooke who called CPS. Douglas figured out Thomas' deception and now Thomas is making him keep it a secret.

Taylor is an idiot. She doesn't seem to care that the only reason Ridge is with her is because he believes that Brooke called CPS on Thomas.

Carter and Katie are together now.

Deacon and Shelia are growing closer.

The show was written, produced, and directed by Tyler Perry (don’t know if you’ve heard of him, but he’s the guy that plays Madea and comes out with all the Madea movies and plays). I see that Meet the Browns airs weekday mornings and weekday afternoons on BET. Don’t know if you have that channel, though. By the way, the people who play Mr. Brown and Cora are husband and wife in real life. Makes sense, because their characters look NOTHING alike. It’s like Clair and Cliff from The Cosby Show being Denise and Sondra’s parents. :lol:

I think it’s best to watch the later seasons, because I don’t really care for the first two seasons all that much. It involves Mr. Brown turning his house into an old folks’ home and the Miss Daisy and London characters just don’t fit in. I think the show was better when they got rid of those two and gave Cora a boyfriend (Reggie). You might like the characters Will and Sasha. They adopt two foster kids in the beginning of the show, Brianna and Joaquin.

Did the family reunion one involve Madea adopting a little girl with a smart mouth and her great niece (Lisa) being abused by her soon to be husband (Carlos, who was played by Blair Underwood)? If so, then that’s the one. I like it a lot, but I feel like it’s a bit too heavy-handed and preachy. Diary of A Mad Black Woman was better to me. I did enjoy the part where Madea’s daughter-in-law (played by Cicely Tyson) gives a great big speech to all the relatives about today’s generation. The three end up fleeing the house in horror but the prank is eventually found out when Uncle Joe knocks out one of the frat boys who is dressed as a clown with his cane. To get back at the frat boys, everyone plays a prank on them by having Tiffany’s best friend (Aday) fake her death. And believe me, the frat boys were scared as sh*t. :lol:

Nikki Grady was the foster kid’s name I think. She got a beating by Madea for lying about skipping school. Madea took out a paper bag, grabbed a belt out of it, turned the TV off (the Good Times episode where Penny was being abused by her mother was on the TV the whole time, lol), and started beating the crap outta Nikki. :lol: Madea’s brother, Joe told her she was giggling like jello when she was beating the poor girl. :lol:

The movie with Brian’s daughter Tiffany was Boo! A Madea Halloween by the way. In Madea Goes To Jail, assistant district attorney Joshua Hardaway is prosecuting a young prostitute and drug addict named Candace Washington (played by Rudy from The Cosby Show) who is an old friend of Joshua. Josh asks his fiancée and fellow ADA Linda Davis to fill in on his behalf before the judge. The judge is ready to send Madea back off to jail but soon learns that the police officers failed to read her Miranda warning, so the judge has no choice but to let her go. After returning home, Madea stumbles upon a party taking place in her house hosted by her brother Joe. In response, Madea rushes upstairs and gets out a machine gun to scare the party goers off in frustration. Josh and Candace soon catch up on old times and become closer and this makes Linda absolutely jealous. Later on in the movie, Madea goes out to Kmart to get some groceries but a woman takes the parking space that she was about to get and acts very snobbish about the whole ordeal. So, to get back at her, Madea commandeers a forklift truck to remove the woman’s car from the space, wrecking it in the process. Madea then flees back home as the woman calls up her police officer husband. Madea is soon arrested and so is Candace. While in prison, Madea ends up befriending Candace and comes to her defense when she is sexually harassed by an inmate named Big Sal. On Josh and Linda’s wedding day, Josh’s best friend, Chuck reveals to him that Linda falsified Candace’s file. During the ceremony, a disgusted and shocked Josh tells the congregation, the Mayor, the Governor, and their boss all that Linda has done and leaves her at the altar to visit Candace at the prison. Josh professes his love to Candace and promises that he will get her out of jail and change her life for good. At the end, Candace, Madea, and five other women that Linda prosecuted have their convictions overturned and are freed.

Oh, I didn’t know you were a vegetarian. I’m assuming you became one due to health reasons or something like that. Well, that’s nice, but I can’t give up good ol’ meat and side dishes. It’s probably why I’m overweight or “obese” if you wanna use the correct term. I try not to eat as much though. I also eat fruits and vegetables almost daily and I work out from time to time. I’m also shedding some weight, so that’s good.

Oh, I didn’t know you were a vegetarian. I’m assuming you became one due to health reasons or something like that. Well, that’s nice, but I can’t give up good ol’ meat and side dishes. It’s probably why I’m overweight or “obese” if you wanna use the correct term. I try not to eat as much though. I also eat fruits and vegetables almost daily and I work out from time to time. I’m also shedding some weight, so that’s good.

I just found out I was obese about 3 weeks ago. I searched it up because I was curious. Call me stupid, but I had no idea that 211 pounds was obese for a 5’8” or maybe 5’7” now (since I might’ve shrunk) man. And yes, I can’t stand those kind of vegans either. They’re beyond grating.
