I watched this as a 6 year old and all I thought was high school was a wild place full of hooligans and chaos. LOL I guess to some extent that can be true, but man did it make me NOT want to grow up and have to go to high school.

I can see a 6 year old thinking that and not realizing high school experience was based on location and whether it was public or private school. Plus that was the BROOKLYN highschool experience and could have been different if you lived in suburbs

It wasn't Brooklyn so much as the dumb class. All public schools have them.
OH Nuts!

I thought WBK was a very meh show… Room 222 however, no there was a show. God I wish the whole series would come out on DVD.

a sports broadcaster made reference to room 222 a week ago and said...."OMG I am dating myself most of our audience never heard of that show since it aired over 50 years ago"

Wow, it's been several years since I saw a Room 222 episode.
I went to what was considered one of the better public high schools in my area, and I remember on my very first day in home room, the kid sitting next to me was strung out on drugs. I never saw him again. I was still wearing hand-me-down bell-bottom pants, which were way out of fashion.
OH Nuts!

I know it’s 52 years since is debut. I was just barely a teenage and now…I’m a senior citizen. Time certainly flies.
