There was no other show like BMW in the 90s. Even now there are no sitcoms that come close to this amazing sitcom. The acting is good. The characters seem realistic.

I don't exactly know what you mean. I'm pretty if there were many other "coming of age" (https://www.wonderwall.com/entertainment/tv/best-coming-age-tv-stories-1990s-3022370.gallery) type of shows (if that's what you're trying to say) from the '90s (https://screenrant.com/best-forgotten-90s-teen-shows-underrated/) like Boy Meets World. Off the top of my head, The Wonder Years, Blossom, Clarissa Explains it All, Saved by the Bell, Sister, Sister, Moesha, Parker Lewis Can't Lose, Daria, and those are just sitcoms (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_teen_sitcoms).

Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step, and Home Improvement were out there at the time.
