“Sail the Universe”
Episode 22 of Gopher’s Gateway

Written by Sean Sporman

Prologue-September, 9th 2376
“Modulate nutations, level six!” The captain of the USS Kennedy ordered over the hiss of a ruptured EM conduit.
“We’re a science vessel, not a warship!” His tactical officer screamed back, “But it just might work!” On the viewscreen, the captain looked at the large and mysterious space vessel that had invaded the outer skirts of Federation space at sector 21209 on Stardate 5409.23
The two phaser beams of his Federation starship lanced out and carbon scoring appeared on the hull of the brown-painted vessel. “We’ve got a hit, Captain!” The tactical officer exclaimed. But, in their moment of triumph, a massive explosion threw the entire crew to the floor.
Barely conscious from a concussion, the Engineering officer was able to blurt out one last report, “We’ve blown our starboard nacelle, massive hull breach, suggest abandon…” The Engineering officer passed out. The captain ran over to him and placed him on his shoulders, after tapping the intercom. “Abandon ship, all hands to escape pods and shuttlecraft.”

The captain was the last one to enter the shuttlecraft Roddenberry, named after famed the Starfleet admiral of the 2260s. He felt the shuttle take off hurriedly from the nearly destroyed shuttle bay of the Oberth-class vessel Kennedy. “Well, at least there was no conspiracy with this Kennedy. Or was there?”
Looking back, he saw the wreck that had been his proud vessel. As the modified escape pods and shuttlecraft shot into warp, the now-unmanned Kennedy exploded into the hull of the attacking vessel, a last ditch attempt to stop the invader. But, only a piece of the attacking vessel’s massive hull was broken off…

Chapter One
“Captain’s Log, Stardate 5409.25, we remain on course for Tarsus V recreational planet at warp eight point six. We hope to arrive in under twelve hours.”
Sean Sporman and June Gabert walked through the main corridor of deck six.
“Sleep well, June?” Sean inquired.
“Yes, thank you.” June smiled, “You?”
“I slept well. I do miss my bunk bed a little bit though.”
June laughed. “So, how long until we are there?”
“Seven hours.” Sean replied.
"So," June began, "I heard you think I'm cute?"
The turbolift doors slid shut. "Bridge." Sean turned toward Sean "Yes, I do."
June smiled and blushed. "Thank you. It makes me feel liked." The two then kissed.
"Any time." Sean replied as the turbolift screeched to a halt and the doors slid open, revealing the main bridge.
“A little late, Sean?” The beautiful Heather Allgood asked.
Sean smiled at his girlfriend. She knew that Sean was being as nice as possible to June to keep her from turning evil again.
“Only sixteen seconds.” Sean replied, as the two hugged.
Heather laughed. “In case you are curious, everything is going fine up here.”
Suddenly, the alert klaxons went off. Sean, Heather, and June all ran to take their stations.
“What is it?” Sean Sporman asked.
“We’re picking up a spatial vortex in Cargo Bay 6! Lifesigns confirmed!” June Gabert replied. A spatial vortex could best be described as a tunnel through time, known to appear on planets in random cycles.
“June, Lucy, Blackerby, come with me. Heather, stay here in case enemy starships take advantage of this situation.” Heather nodded. Sean began his walk to the turbolift, tapping his combadge on the way. “Sporman to Sick Bay.”
“EMH here.”
“We’ve got a spatial vortex in Cargo Bay Six. There are people coming through!”
“’Nuff said. Here I come to save the day. EMH out.”
Lucy chuckled. “What was that all about?”
“He’s been reading holo-comics.” Replied June.
Lucy nodded in understanding.

Outside Cargo Bay Six, the Emergency Medical Hologram saw Sean Sporman, June Gabert, Lucy Camden and Andy Blackerby running down the corridor.
“I’m picking up six humans and two unknown lifeforms behind that door.”
“Radiation danger?” Andy Blackerby inquired.
“Only three parts per million of multiflux radiation. No danger.”
“Open the door.” Sean ordered.
“Gladly.” The Emergency Medical Hologram smiled and smashed the door controls.
Smoke poured out of the room and young blonde girl stumbled out of the door. “In the name of the moon, please get some help!!”
Everyone’s eyes widened in shock.

Chapter Two
Fortress TO-9
“We didn’t get any pure heart crystals from that ship!”
“Ah, but let us remember Mistress 9, that the true target is Earth, considered a paradise at this time.”
“You are right, Tomo. But, what about the scouts?”
“They are in the past. No problem.”

USS Enterprise-D
“So, you got accidentally transported to our time?” Sean Sporman asked to the girl named Amy.
“My mini-computer detected an increase in chronotron particles.”
“So, you must have been pulled in. Gravitons, right?”
“Exactly!” Amy exclaimed, sitting on one of the many Biobeds in Sick Bay, “It’s so good to have someone understand me! But, as I was saying, the chronotrons blocked my mini-computers readings of the gravitons and we got pulled in.”
“It’s all your fault!” Luna, the talking cat, exclaimed suddenly to the shorter blonde girl.
All of the humans besides the ones that were being treated turned in shock, except June Gabert, who giggled. “This is too cool! My favorite cartoon characters brought to life!” Now it was time for the rescued ones to be shocked.

Outpost 234
Commander Irwin McBlom of Outpost 234 found his job boring because nothing exciting happened. After arguing with a certain admiral about Starfleet’s recreational policies, he had been transferred to this backwater assignment. Only fifteen shuttles explored the space around the outpost.
It was obvious that he was shocked when the proximity alarms went off. He sat alone in the cramped control room. “Computer, display intruder on screen.” He gasped when he saw the computer scale on the small screen that showed the massive fortress. “Computer, relay to shuttles, attack pattern omega. Raise our shields and ready photon torpedo turrets and six phaser strips.”
The outpost was small, but had teeth. Eight photon torpedo turrets deployed around the outpost and the phaser arrays warmed up.
The shuttles flew in around the intruder in a standard T formation. They all fired phasers at once at the area that had been damaged by the Kennedy in its earlier battle. However, little damage was incurred. In retaliation, the fortress fired back, crippling six of the shuttles.
The shuttles then attempted to fire back, but failed, as numerous tractor beams lanced out, holding the Starfleet shuttles in place. Suddenly, the enemy shot into warp, on course to sector 001, the home of paradise…Earth.

USS Enterprise-D
“I heard that there are people from some cartoon on board!” Lieutenant Emily Ham exclaimed in Rec Room 3 of the USS Enterprise-D to her friend Amy Rodgers as they played a game of 3D chess. “Your move.”
Amy moved the pawn up a level. “Someone told me that they were clones…and someone else told me that they were holographic humans.”
Emily moved her bishop down a level. “Check.” Amy sighed as she planned her next move. “It is possible that they are real. I’ve seen some pretty strange things since I’ve been transferred from south Alabama.”
Amy moved her king to safety. “You remember the day that we got here? Andy Blackerby beamed us up to Sean’s starship.”
Emily quickly moved her knight to a very good position. “Checkmate! Got ya. Yeah, I remember that day, it was cool. I’m going to go rest up a while.”
Suddenly, another girl named Ami, the one that had come from the spatial vortex, walked up. “Ooh, chess. Mind if I play?”
“Sure, why not.” Emily Ham pressed a button and the pieces were beamed into starting positions. “So, how did you get here anyway?”
“Well, it all started when Sarina was chasing Darien down 22nd street…”

Andy Blackerby passed by the visitor known as Lita. “Greetings. You are one of the girls that came through the spatial vortex, aren’t you?”
“Yes.” Replied Lita, “Who are you?”
“Commander Andy Blackerby.”
“Ah, yes, I heard about you.”
“Really…what did who say…?”

Sean Sporman sat in the ready room as the “leader” of the girls entered. “Welcome, Serena, I’m Sean Sporman. May I get you something to eat or drink?”
“Food! Too cool. Got any chocolate cake?” Serena replied as she nearly tripped over the chair she was trying to sit down in.
“Yes.” Sean replied. “Be careful there.”
“Oh, it’s no problem, Sean.” Sean smiled as Serena sat down.
Sean walked to the replicator. “One slice of chocolate cake and one order of Chick-Fil-A French fries.”
“You like French fries? Coolness.” Serena commented as Sean placed down the slice of cake. “Thank you.”
“Gladly welcome. So, allow me to tell you what I am. I am a principal at an advanced school and my friends are the staff. We had mysteriously received Starfleet technology, which we implemented into our school.”
“What about your top people?” Serena said as she began to gobble on her cake.
“Umm…yes.” Sean ate a fry. “My beautiful and intelligent girlfriend is Heather Allgood. My former enemy and now good friend is June Gabert. And, another friend of mine is Jordan Reeves.”
“Well, now that you’ve told me about you and your friends,” Serena replied, “It’s time you knew the whole truth about mine.”

“I was right!” June Gabert proclaimed, “They are the sailor scouts!”
“Or very good holograms or clones.” Jordan remarked. June glared at him.
“This is a fascinating development.” Heather commented.
“Indeed.” Lucy Camden added.
Just then, Tiffany Davidson came on over the comm of the conference room. “Emergency transmission from Admiral William Ross. Priority one.”
Sean’s heart jumped a beat. A priority one was a code for one thing…invasion. Sean’s smile disappeared as he tapped the activation button.
“Captain Sporman here.” Sean stated.
“We have some bad news to report.” Admiral Ross began, “The USS Kennedy was the first vessel to be attacked by this mysterious invader.” The holographic emitters on the table they sat activated, showing the battle that Ross had mentioned.
“They were doing readings of gaseous anomalies in sector 21474 when they were attacked. No one was killed, but the ship was destroyed. Apparently, even a matter-antimatter explosion of force 9 can’t damage them but a small amount.”
“That is indeed disturbing.” Sean said.
“But, the plot thickens,” William Ross continued, “Outpost 234 was attacked and disable. Their shuttle wing was captured and destroyed both. This fortress seems to not have one set tactic.”
“Do you wish us to go there?” Sean Sporman inquired.
“Indeed.” The admiral replied, “We’re dispatching a fleet of 74 starships not at the Babel conference to intercept and try to negotiate and if needed, stop the intruder. The USS Enterprise-E will lead the fleet with you a secondary commander. The fleet will meet with you in 12 hours.”
“We should be able to relax then. What other ships will accompany us?”
“The Avenger…”
“That’s Ambassador Worf’s ship.” Jordan commented.
“The Bozeman, the Yorktown, the Intrepid, the Hypothetical and seventy of Starfleet’s finest. Be prepared, Captain, and Godspeed. Ross out.”
Sean looked at his friends as the monitor once more showed the Federation logo. “Well, my friends, let’s get ready.”

In Cargo Bay Six, two more young girls emerged through the still open Spatial Vortex. These two were Amara and Michelle, cousins.
Michelle used her fingers to place her hair back in place. “Are you sure Serena and her friends went here?”
Amara nodded quickly. “My new pure-heart scanner detects---Whoa! Michelle, look at this!”
Michelle moved to see the readout on Amara’s scanner. “Those just might be the pure heart crystals we are looking for.”
“Indeed.” Amara replied, “Indeed.”

Chapter Three
“Captain’s Log, Supplemental. It is only ten point one hours until rendezvous with the fleet and from there, six hours to IP with the intruder. Until then, I plan to relax with our visitors and my friends. So, logically, we are going to the Holodeck…”

“And, you say Heather designed the simulation and its rated E?” Jordan asked.
“That’s good enough for me.” Sean replied, smiling at his girlfriend, “Heather always designs nice and calm and cool simulations.”
For some reason, Heather laughed. “I’ll be in the observation booth.” Heather walked away and Sean entered the Holodeck.
Sean first noticed the quietness of the corridor. “It must be a party at the end of the corridor or something.”

Inside the Holodeck observation booth, Heather and Jordan laughed at Sean’s remark.

Sean smiled as he rounded the corner. Instead of being greeted by a beautiful sophomore or a platter of delicious fast food, he instead was greeted by a phaser beam. He ducked and rolled into a nearby room. It happened to be an armory. He picked up a personal shield and a phaser rifle. Smiling, he reentered the corridor.
What he saw shocked him greatly. It was Jigglypuff with a Type 1 phaser. It fired again, this time hitting Sean’s personal shield, and knocking him against the wall. Jigglypuff then took out her microphone. “Puff!”
It began to sing. “Jigglypuff…Jiggly…y…puff. Jigglypuff…Jiggly…y…puff. Jigglypuff…Jiggly…y…puff.” As Jigglypuff looked down at Sean, she found him asleep. She fired her phaser at Sean’s personal shield and then took out her marker…

Heather smiled in the Holodeck Observation Room. “There, you told me to do it. Jonathan told me to do it. Others told me to do it. Now, I did it. I played a prank on Sean.”
“Let’s get him to sick bay…he’s not hurt, but he is asleep.” Jordan began to laugh as he left the observation room.

On the Bridge, Lucy Camden sat in command. “Anything new?” she asked to Tina Adams.
“Nothing new on short or long-range sensors instead of a class-six comet.”
“That’s a comet.” Tiffany Davidson commented as she switched the viewscreen to show the comet. “Pretty, isn’t it?”
“Yes it is.” Lucy agreed. Suddenly, a photon torpedo destroyed the shimmering comet, shattering it into thousands of pieces as the Enterprise passed it at warp speed.
“Alright!” Lucy stood up. “Who did that?”
“It was I.” June Gabert commented. “I was distracted. My shift only ends in forty-seven minutes.”
“Well,” Lucy walked to the tactical station where June stood, “We don’t want you destroying anything else in boredom so feel free to report to any of the Rec Rooms. I hear our visitors are quite interesting…”

“You started it!” Serena yelled to the girl known as Mina.
“No, you started it!” Mina yelled back. They had drawn quite a crowd in Rec Room 3 of the starship Enterprise, as the argument had already lasted well over a star-minute.
“I give up. Just go away you bubblehead!” Serena attempted to walk off, but Mina would have known of that.
“You are the bubblehead here, Moon. I could tell which boy officers you have a crush on…”
Serena jumped back. “Did I say you started it? I meant I started it…” The Rec Room erupted in laughter.

Sean Sporman shook his head as he woke up, where Hannah Clements removed the markings on his face via a dermal regenerator. “Jigglypuff got ya. So, how are you going to get back?”
Sean smiled at Hannah as his memory came flooding back. “What do you mean get back?”
“Heather played a prank on you.” Hannah commented. “Play one back.”
Sean shook his head as Hannah removed the last marking, placing down the dermal regenerator. “I would never do that to her. I couldn’t.”
“You are sweet.” Hannah smiled, “Unlike other boys who would do something mean to get even with her.”
Sean smiled and nodded as the Emergency Medical Hologram walked out of his office. “Have I told you how much I enjoy having a large office?” The hologram commented, “Now I remember, I have. Sorry. But, anyway, you are free to go, being in perfect health. And, I,” The doctor picked up a Starfleet D-6 Iron Golf Club, “can hit the green.”
Sean and Hannah laughed.

The fortress cut through space like a knife through a stick of butter at its high speed of warp nine-point-six-nine. In the dark and eerie command center sat Tomoe, the once good professor that had turned evil for Mistress 9 in exchange for her daughter’s life.
“No other starships on intercept. And, we have received an interesting transmission from a ship named Enterprise.” Mistress 9 stated from her throne-like chair.
“Place it on the viewer.” Tomo requested.
“I’ve fast-forwarded it to the valid portions.” Mistress 9 added as the screen flashed to life.
Sean Sporman smiled in the center of the screen. Behind her were seven girls the two knew all too well. “The sailor scouts. With Starfleet? But, how?”
“I don’t know. But, we have a new priority. Destroy the starship Enterprise.” Mistress 9 proclaimed, “Tell our Negaverse underlings to set a course. NOW!”

“Personal Log, Commander Heather Allgood, Stardate 5409.26. It is only six hours until we rendezvous with the fleet. My forced prank on Sean went as I felt it would, Sean was not mad at all and actually found it amusing. Overall, today has been a good day…”

Heather Allgood sat quietly in Ten-Forward sipping on a Mountain Dew at a table by herself. She smiled as Sean sat down, himself drinking a canned Pepsi.
“Still doing well, Seanie?”
Sean chuckled at the appellation. “You bet!”
Heather smiled again after drinking a sip. “It was cool that you didn’t get mad at me. I knew you wouldn’t though.”
Sean took a sip of his own drink. “Getting mad at someone for something minor serves no purpose, especially someone close. Sporman Philosophy 27.”
Heather smiled. “You are so nice.”
Sean smiled. “Always.”

"Personal Log, Lieutenant Commander June Gabert, This is so cool. I never expected my favorite cartoon characters to come to life. I have one question though, where is Tuxedo Mask?"

June Gabert walked down the corridor, a happy smile on her face as she chatted with Serena. "So, you have a boyfriend?" Serena asked.
"Yup." Replied June.
"I heard you were going out with a boy named Alan?" Serena inquired to June.
"Never gone out with any Alan. It's really a secret, but I'm going out with Sean." June replied with a devious smile.
"Juicy." Serena replied, "So, you like it here in space?"
"You bet. Good people, good food, good stuff and did I mention some hot boys?"
Both girls laughed as they continued their walk down the corridor.

Chapter Four
Five hours after enjoying a chat in Ten-Forward with Heather, Sean inhaled a large breath and smiled as the massive Federation fleet of over eighty ships was displayed on the viewscreen from a view of the probe. In the middle were the Enterprise-D, Enterprise-E and Hypothetical.
“Well, now that we have that settled, shall we go kick some alien fanny?” The bridge erupted in cheers at Sean’s proclamation. Heather smiled.
“Open to the fleet.”
“Channel open.” June replied with a smile.
“Sporman to fleet. Engage.”
The armada shot into warp, heading toward an enemy that was also…heading toward them.

Jordan Reeves currently sat on the Battle Bridge, ready for the almost-needed separation plan. With him were his friends, Tiffany Davidson and Courtney Gage.
“Systems status?” Jordan inquired.
“Everything’s up and running normally.” Courtney replied.
“Fine here.” Tiffany said.
“Can I do it now?” Courtney asked.
Jordan sighed. “Go ahead, Lieutenant Gage.”
Courtney smiled. “Ha Ha Ha. You lost at our match of Holographic football. Lost! Lost! Lost!”
“Well,” Jordan replied, “I won in my heart.”
Tiffany Davidson laughed aloud.

“Captain’s Log, Supplemental, We are now at an early rendezvous with the intruder. Our plan is set and ready to go.”
Sean Sporman allowed the alert klaxons and flashing alert lights not to interfere with his duties, but to blend in with the background of his duties…his duties to save the Federation.
“I’m picking up some weird readings.” Lucy Camden shook her head. “This is quite impossible.”
Sean had gotten used to hearing that phrase lately. He tapped his combadge as he stood watching the viewscreen. “Sporman to Amy.”
The visiting sailor scout responded. “Yes?”
“We need you on bridge…and bring your mini-computer.”
“Understood. I will arrive promptly. Amy out.”
It was then that the lights overhead went out.

Emily Ham was walking down the corridor talking to her friend Tina Adams when the lights went out. “What could it be?” Tina Adams inquired.
“It sounds like a…dilithium crystal total failure…but that’s impossible. Someone would have to physically remove the crystals.”

Sean Sporman was thinking the same thing that Emily Ham had been thinking. Tapping on his armchair panel, he suddenly dematerialized.
“Where did he go?” Hannah Clements wondered.
“To Engineering.” Heather replied.
“Don’t tell me its another Sporman worshipping session.” Peyton Freeman turned around from her station, not looking too happy in the now-dim bridge.
“You just don’t appreciate—“ Heather began, but was interrupted.
“Please, I just don’t want to hear it.” Peyton then turned around.
Heather frowned. “Cynic.” She muttered about Peyton under her breath.

The first thing Sean Sporman saw was the unconscious bodies of Rachel Waters, Cathy Frederick and others. The sight disturbed him and he almost tapped his combadge to call for sickbay, but stopped himself.
Like the bridge, the Engineering was now dark from the removing of the dilithium crystal, which helped regulate the starship’s power. Sean held his type-one phaser tightly in his hand as he stepped slowly.
Suddenly, he heard breathing and quickly activated his illumination unit on his wrist, shining it on the culprits…
“Michelle…Amara. Needless to say, I’ve been expecting you, but what of the crystal? It helps run our power and I can tell you now…it’s not a pure heart crystal.”
Michelle gasped and Amara began to laugh.
“It’s true what they say…all cousins react differently.” Sean smiled as he placed the crystal back into the warp core and power was restored. Lights flashed back to life.
“Sporman to Sick Bay. Medical situation.”
“Hey, look, I see the docsignal. Let us go, Nurselady, to Gotham Deck 36!”
Sean shook his head in comical distress.

The Enterprise-D and the remainder of the massive fleet stopped in the path of the foreboding fortress, which also stopped.
“By Mercury,” The girl named Amy exclaimed on the bridge of the Enterprise-D, “That’s Mistress 9’s ship. My mini-computer’s readings wouldn’t exaggerate.”
“Who?” Sean Sporman inquired.
“One of our worst foes. We have to stop her!”
“We’ll get in that fortress. Heather, prepare for saucer separation.”
“Gladly.” She replied.
“June, inform the fleet to attack the port quarter of that fortress. All weapons…including Thobalt-corium devices.”
“Yes, sir.”

The saucer section of the Enterprise-D unlatched slowly from the stardrive section and began to pull away using thrusters. Then the thrusters deactivated, and the saucer section rode on inertia until clear of the stardrive section.
Seconds later, it was clear.
“Saucer separation complete.” June reported happily.
“The fleet has begun its assault.” Heather said.
“On screen.” Sean ordered.
Sean watched as tens of Federation Starfleet vessels of different shapes and sizes fired phasers and photon torpedoes at different areas of the fortress’ port quarter. “Its shields are fluctuating.” June reported.
Lucy Camden tapped a button on her console. “I’ve got Jordan on the comm.”
“Jordan,” Sean said, “Is the pulse ready?”
“Deflector charged. Shall I fire?” Jordan asked, in command of the stardrive section.
“Fire!” Sean ordered. “Put it on screen, Heather.”
On the bridge of the saucer section, all eyes watched the blue deflector pulse fire from the stardrive section at the shields of the fortress. “Their shields are phasing in sectors 247, 248 and 249.” June stated from the tactical console.
“Take us in, Lucy!”
Lucy spun around to her console. “Yes, sir.” The saucer section pushed forward like a bullet past the battling vessels and penetrating the shields of the enemy fortress.
Sean stood up, June and Amy stepped to the turbolift. “Heather, take command as we discussed.”
Heather nodded. “Good luck, Captain.”
“Same to you, Commander.” The two smiled at each other as the turbolift doors closed.
Heather turned to Peyton. “No comment, please.”
Hannah Clements and Lucy Camden chuckled as Heather sat in the captain’s chair.

Chapter Five
The Sailor Scouts, Sean Sporman and June Gabert materialized into the fortress, two rooms from the command center. Sean and June were armed with phasers. Sean had selected June, because he knew she would want to fight alongside her favorite cartoon heroes, as implausible as the situation was.
“This way.” Sean pointed, holding a phaser rifle at his chest level. They walked and suddenly saw a NegaBot. Sean fired his phaser rifle and the robot fell into several pieces.
Another NegaBot tried to sneak up on June, but she fired and that robot fell to pieces.
“Good shot.” Sean exclaimed. “Let’s continue.”

Another amplified laser shot from the fortress shook the saucer section of the Enterprise-D, where Heather Allgood still sat in command.
“How are the shields?” Heather inquired.
“They are starting to buckle,” Hannah replied, “Sixty-two percent.”
“We should retreat now.” Peyton suggested.
“We can’t leave them there. Lucy, attempt maneuver sequence Sporman-Allgood Six.”
Lucy chuckled. “You two do everything together, don’t you? Initiating maneuver.”

Sean’s phaser beam could not penetrate the door, even when combined with June’s phaser at the highest setting. It was obvious that the Sailor Scouts would be needed solve this particular problem.
“I’ve got the weapon to work this door down.” Mina said.
She stood back. “Venus Star Power!” Sean watched as in just a few seconds she changed uniforms. She now wore something more reminiscent of a cheerleader’s uniform. “Venus Crescent Beam Smash!” A beam flew through the door that had been impenetrable.
“Good work.” Sailor Venus smiled back.
Sean and June rushed in the door first and the now-transformed Sailor Scouts quickly followed them.
“I am Captain Sean Sporman of the Federation Starship Enterprise. You have committed acts of crime against the United Federation of Planets. Please surrender.”
Mistress 9 lunged toward Sean in a crazed dive, but June stunned Mistress 9, who fell to the deck with a thunk. Suddenly, Tomo emerged from the light, his face…smiling. He looked at Sailor Saturn, his daughter.
“Thank you, Sean Sporman.” The man said, “You have freed me from the evil woman who kept me from my daughter.”
“Thank June here as well.” Sean said as Tomo and his daughter hugged.
“Of course. Thank you, June.” June nodded.
Tomo took a laser pistol gun and shot the control panel of the Fortress. “The weapons have stopped, the shields are down and the NegaBots are deactivated.”
“Would you mind if I come aboard your starship?”
Sean and June smiled.
Suddenly, the Sailor Scouts jumped for joy. “We’ve done it! The NegaVerse has been purged.” Serena proclaimed, “We are free.”
“This calls for a celebration…”

“Captain’s Log, Stardate 5409.25, the intruder has been stopped from Federation space successfully. The evil ones have been taken to a Federation prison and Professor Tomo has been officially invited into Starfleet Sciences. The Sailor Scouts are now free of their enemy, and they have said they have some shocking news…”

Chapter Six
Serena hugged Sean Sporman with a smile. “You have saved us and we thank you. Now, we can pursue are own interests for a while and reunite when we are needed. We will miss each other, but we all agreed we needed to rest from fighting evil.”
“What will all of you be doing?” Sean asked as the party commenced in Ten-Forward.
“Well, I’ll be going back.” Serena replied, “I’ve got me a boyfriend to snag.” Laughter erupted.
Amy walked up next. “I would like to stay with you and your friends. Could you use another science officer?”
Sean nodded. “Always. Glad to have you aboard.”
Mina was next. “Starfleet Recreational Entertainment said they wanted me in another video game…this one a holodeck program. Sailor V returns…”
Raye approached after Mina. “Starfleet has some great studying facilities on Bertaon Seven in my desire to become a priestess. I should get the job done.”
“Your ship doesn’t have a martial arts trainer or a chef!” Lita exclaimed, “I’m ready to fight, Captain.” More laughter.
Hotaru Tomo walked up with her father. “I’ll be staying on the research station with my father for the time being. Thanks again, you all.”
“Well,” Amara chuckled, “You may not have motorcycles here, but they do on B-7 Planet. Racing!”
“Heather told me you really don’t have anyone to run the Audiophonics Hall at your school,” Michelle said, “I would be glad to assist.” Sean nodded.
Finally, Trista walked up, “I must stay in our dimension, to keep an eye out for further trouble. You can understand of course?”
“Of course.” Sean replied, raising his coke, “Three cheers, to the Sailor Scouts, just on vacation for a while.”
Cheering filled the room…
