Well, we already know a lot of people around here think Jo is a goddess, :lol: ;)
But seriously, I was just thinkin' about this---and largely, I'm sure, cause it's 3:37 a.m. See, I happen to looooooove the ol' Greek myths (it's kinda like prime time drama in togas), and I was tryin' to match the FOL cast to certain goddesses in my head. Here's what I've thought of in the last few minutes:
Mrs. Garrett = Demeter, Goddess of Grain (the most maternal goddess---and Mrs. G's even the school dietician! :lol: )
Blair = Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty (I love Blair, she's my favorite, but she could sometimes be as vain, selfish, and petty as Aphrodite---though the goddess was much worse! )
Jo = Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt (Artemis was the real "tomboy" of the goddesses [and my favorite, ironically, though Jo's not my favorite FOLer], with more masculine attributes---and she and Aphrodite didn't always get along)
Natalie = Athena, Goddess of Wisdom (Nat loved writing, and didn't get caught up as emotionally as Tootie did or in such petty fights as Jo and Blair)
Tootie = Persephone, Eternal Maiden (the youngest of the goddesses [she's actually Demeter and Zeus's daughter], the most "innocent" one)
Thus ends my overly-creative mind session before bed. lol
