(Ralph is moping around the apartment.)

Alice: “Ralph, look on the bright side. The Knicks took it to those Hawks and almost beat them.”

Ralph: “I just want a NY team to win the NBA Finals.”

Alice: “They still got plenty of chances.”

Ralph: “You are right Alice. The Knicks have got a big chance.”

(Ed comes down and is upset.)

Ed: “What a bad game Ralph. Now the Knicks are down by one game. If the Knicks and Nets lose, it will be a WHOLE ANOTHER YEAR before they can be in the NBA Finals again. Those Hawks are financed by Ted Turner who may pay big bucks to get the best players to beat the Nets and the Knicks. The NBA title could go to Atlanta and…”

Ralph (yells): “GET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEET OUT!”

(Ed leaves.)
