The majority of theme songs will not play on my Mac devices, I was wondering what music file format you use. When attempting to play, I just get a picture of a speaker with a line through it. I had no problem with a regular Microsoft pc. Thanks.

Never mind, found out it’s wav.

Found out sitcom online has mostly .wav format, so no idea why themes won’t play on this particular site. No problem elsewhere. Is there a recommended program to decompress wav files for a Mac?

Most of the theme songs came from the Wave Themes Home Page many years ago. The compressed wav format used a very old codec: MPEG Layer-3 Codec for Windows 95/98/NT - https://www.sitcomsonline.com/l3codecx.exe

It looks like the Wave Themes Home Page now converts and hosts them in mp3 format, so you could probably find them there.

You could try the VLC media player for Mac. That will probably play any audio or video format.
