OH Nuts!

In this charming fraternity ep, Wally concocts a scheme to get their frat house painted. He invents the “tradition” of The Blue Moose and Rick’s frat challenges the Betas: whichever frat ends up with the blue moose gets their house painted.
Ozzie goofs up a couple of times and almost loses it for Rick’s frat but good ‘ol smart cookie Harriet saves the day.
Fun revisiting the ep. A true charmer and the version I saw on YT had the original commercials too! Whatta deal as my Shout! copy didn’t

I truly love the eps where the Frat brothers, outside of caricature Wally, are prominent. And of course Harriet is always wonderful, IMO she and Ricky were the real actors in the family. Ozzie, not surprisingly, bumbles things and while giving a passable performance, is nowhere in the same league as Harriet or Ricky. God I wished she had done some movies after the 30s. Such a wry wit and perfect timing! But Ozzie does compensate greatly behind the scenes with stellar production and business acumen—so his less-than-stellar acting is easily forgiven.
Points off for being too predictable (to an avid viewer) — Wally coming up with another”great” scheme. Points on for the ever-great Harriet, Rick, his frat…and the Betas.
