“I’m telling you, it literally was a civil war in the (writers') room,” showrunner Bruce Helford tells TheWrap. “Everyone had a very different opinion about it – and not drawn along any specific lines. Some people would say, ‘She definitely pushed him way too far. There’s no way this guy can trust what’s going on with her, she’s so up and down.’ And the other group is saying, ‘Hey, you know, she needs him right now, and he hasn’t been there for her. He’s not being great.’ So it really was a tough decision.” ALSO: Emma Kenney shares behind-the-scenes photos chronicling The Conners' COVID season (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/conners-finale-emma-kenney-photos-1234955961/).

She is such a physically ugly woman (and was an ugly girl), it would surprise me that any man would want her (and in real life she is a lesbian). I mean, who would want to be with a smartass, homely woman like her?

Why have a civil war? Just let her be who she is in real life -- it might actually make her character interesting.
