My mom told me that Vince Gill's song I Still Believe In You was inspired by his relationship with Amy Grant when they were crushes but when Amy was no longer his crush it left him with deep sadness and so he asked his songwriters to write a song about his feelings for Amy Grant and I Still Believe In You was born. It's hard to believe that when Amy Grant sang House Of Love with Vince Gill she divorced Gary Chapman so she could marry Vince Gill and they are still together

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that she had anything to do with the song. The album of the song name was released in 1992 and their first collaboration, "The House Of Love" of course, was done two years later. Because I don't know when the two first met, I can't say if she was the song's inspiration or not. I just know that Vince was still very much married to Janis then. Their divorce was like five years later.

God bless you and Vince and both ladies always!!!
